Donations

We feed on average about 650 people a week, at roughly a cost of $1.00 per person. This includes a burrito, water, toilet paper, and other necessities as we have them available. So anything you can do to help us in this area is greatly appreciated. There are several great ways you can help us to help our friends downtown.

The first way and best way is with a donation of funds. To donate to us this way, please click on the link below for a secure Paypal transaction directly to Hunger 2 Help, Inc. We will reply with a receipt for your donation within a week.

The second way is with an in-kind donation. To provide for our friends downtown, we use a lot of different materials each week. Tortillas, eggs, cheese, potatoes, salt, pepper, aluminum foil, water, fruit, toilet paper, plastic/paper bags, feminine hygiene products, and dog and cat food and treats. We even provide books, kids toys, blankets, backpacks and tarpaulins as we can. If you are able to donate any of these kinds of items, please contact us directly at michael@burritoboyz.org or call us at (858) 254-6230. We can then discuss what you might have for us, how we can use it, and pickup/dropoff details.

The third way is with your time. For most of our volunteers, we begin at Long Island Mike’s Pizza on Murphy Canyon Road at 7am every Sunday morning, rain or shine. By the end of our day, we are downtown near the central library and are done by 9:30am or so. If you want to spend a Sunday you will never forget, come on down and join us. We always accept walk-ins!

Burrito Boyz, Inc. is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) 3, Internal Revenue Code.

On behalf of all the street homeless that we serve weekly, thank you for your donation!
